Suzanne and I took a nice hike today 4/7, at the Volcanos, part of the Petroglyph National Monument area. Probably a 3 to 4 mile hike and as usual I followed. Today was a rare day as it rained on us. Something that hasn't happened in a while. One thing about the Albuquerque area is all the wind. They are predicting 30 to 40 mile an hour winds tomorrow, Friday and even higher on Saturday.
Last night we went to the Route 66 Casino and Hotel to eat and do some heavy gambling, those nickle machines are great. We joined the ultimate rewards which gave us a great buffet for 7.99, a hat and calendar. The buffet was very good and so was our gambling, we broke even!!
Tomorrow we are going on the Jemez Mountain National Scenic Byway to see the sights. I will post pictures later.
Please remember our son David in your prayers. He is on a mission in Iraq.
