A little trip to Heber City, Utah

The deer that watched us for hours!

We took a short trip to Heber City to buy some supplies. Stopped by the visitor center and got some information on things to see in the area. One of them was Bridal Veil Falls and the other was the ski resort, Robert Redford's Sundance Resort. We stopped by the falls that are 607 feet high and did a hike up to the second tier of the falls. I should say I did as Suzanne would not continue past a slippery area:) I made it to the tier and then had to get down. I must admit one area was right on the edge and very slippery. I did have to sit and slid down that area. I must remember, it is always easier to go up then down. Overall it was a nice hike and we both survived. We wanted to see the Sundance Resort that Robert Redford founded in 1969. It was a nice ride up only to find out the resort wasn't opening till tommorrow. But there were alot of people getting the  place ready for the summer tourist and we were able to look around. The place looked very nice, but we did not get to see our friend, Robert.
Tomorrow we are off the Bear Lake State Park about 125 miles north of here for 5 days.
