Taking the road to Durango, Colorado

The day started out with snow! Just a little bit of snow but enough for a picture. It was a little cold out so we decided to explore Durango, Colorado. It was a little over 55 miles one-way but again another motorcycle road that we all would enjoy. I think everyone that rides a motorcycle needs to make this area of the country a MUST DO!! We took a little side trip to Mancos State Park but after 8 miles the gate was closed. But it snowed on us:) so the trip wasn't a waste. Went on to Durango which is a nice size town where they have the Steam Railroad and Narrow Gauge Railroad Museum. Overall a great day and now I am ready to watch some tv and rest.  Please keep David in your prayers while he is in Kuwait and Iraq.
